Lock has a tendency to bind. Wrote Sentry Safe for help. Had suggestions that did not work. Asked for replacement part or Supplier. No action yet.

Good product for basically a little more peace of mind. Hide it well, but it does act as a quick deterrent. Something good to have on the car for a college student.

The Bad:
Saw this on another website when looking for a portable gun safe.It works for a small frame revolver or a sub-compact auto. But that’s it.Before you buy, measure and include the grip, most manufacturers only measure the slide on their autos. So if rely on what they say you might come up short.
The Good:
Seems to be built well. Large enough for my check book, camera, cell phone, wallet, and a small gps. My truck does not have a locking glove box or center console, so this works great.
Conclusion:
If it were 1 1/2 inch longer and 1 inch wider it work for most compact autos as a gun safe.

I am very satisfied with the car safe. I immediately hooked it up around the seat of my car to hold my passport after I got it. I found the instructions to be very simple since there was nor extreme assembly although I did receive one small accessory broken from shipping (I didn’t want to use it any way so I did not bring it up to the seller.) It was a bit pricey too but well worth the safety I now have for my passport and other goods in my car.
