WE RECEIVED THE X055 BUT IT HAD NO OVERRIDE KEY IN THE PACKAGE. WHEN WE CONTACTED THE COMPANY THEY JUST GAVE US A RUNAROUND.
THERE IS NO REMOVABLE SHELF IN THE SAFE WE GOT ALTHOUGH IT SAYS THERE IS IN THE AD.
WE ALSO TRIED TO CONTACT THE FAMILY THAT OWNS THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE SAFE (JIM & DOUG BRUSH) AT THE PLANT IN ROCHESTER NY, BUT SO FAR NO HELP.
I’D SAVE MY MONEY NEXT TIME AND BUY ANOTHER SAFE.

I suppose I should have done my homework a little better before purchasing this item. I normally hunt out products made in the US, and don’t mind spending a little extra for them. Sentrysafe’s webpage says ‘Proudly made in the USA’. However, this item is not. I do applaud Sentrysafe’s efforts to bring some of it’s operations back to the US.
As far as the item itself, I would say that it’s pricey for a Chinese made metal box with an electronic lock. This item shouldn’t be more than $30.

I’ve had my digital safe for only a year and as soon as the warrantee is expired it fails. My belongings were inside and had to enter the master code at least 60 times for it to open. I would go with COMBINATION next time.

I did receive the safe in about four days. The safe was easy to set up and appears to work as advertised. For what it is designed to do, it works well. This is not a super secure safe but rather a lock box that can be attached to a shelf or wall. I am sure a determined burglar would have no problem breaking into this safe but it does offer protection for papers and small items. The combination can be set to use up to 8 digits of your choice and has a key back up. Good value for the money.

This is the perfect size for your personal items. It is easy to install and use. This is the best price by far that I could find for such quality.
