THIS IS THE DUMBEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN.

IN MY OPINION A GOOD SAFE DETERS ALL THREE, FIRE, WATER & THEFT.

THIS SAFE HAS 6 HOLES IN TOTAL, 2 OF THEM THE SIZE OF A QUARTER.

SO, IT’LL DETER BURGLARY, BUT IF YOUR HOUSE BURNS, OR IF YOU HAVE A FLOOD ALL

OF YOUR PRECIOUS PAPERS, DOCUMENTS, MEMORABILIA ETC. WILL BE RUIND.

THE AD IS NOT CLEAR ABOUT THIS, AS ONE DOESN’T GO LOOKING TO SEE IF THE SAFE HAS HOLES IN IT. ONE WOULD ASSUME, THAT LARGE HOLES AND SAFES WOULD NOT WORK TOGETHER. INSTEAD I BOUGHT A HONEYWELL MODEL THAT HAS ALL GOOD PROTECTION FOR ALL THREE, AND WILL LEAVE ME SLEEPING BETTER AT NIGHT.

IT’S AS IF ONE WERE TO BUY A HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLCY AND OPT OUT OF FIRE OR FLOOD PROTECTION IN THEIR POLICY. JUST PLAIN DUMB! AND NOW I HAVE THE UNPLEASANT DUTY OF RE-PACKING THE STUPID THING AND LUGGING IT TO BE PICKED UP.

TO EACH THEIR OWN, I KNOW, CLEARLY THIS PRODUCT WORKS FOR MANY (ALL 5 STARS) BUT IT IS BEYOND ME.

I did some shopping around and I found this same safe for less at [...] where I paid $89.99 for it.

I bought this safe because I thought it would be great to have in my college dorm room. Turns out I didn’t need it. It did create an awkward moment when my roommate saw it moving in. The guys on my floor respect other people’s stuff and my we always manage to lock our door, so I usually keep the safe unlocked.

Comes with a steel cable that I used to lock the safe to my bed frame.

I was surprised how lightweight this box is. It has all the hardware to attach it to floor or wall; this prevents it from being stolen. I like the electronic keypad BUT……..anyone could take a hatchet to it & break right in through the walls. Even a heavy duty hunting knife could do the trick. Maybe its more for fire safety than theft or burglary. I would have like to know the thickness of the metal before I purchased. I guess it would be okay inset in a wall.

We purchased ours for our daughter’s dorm room – laptop and other things fit nicely in it to just further sercure them when not there. she and her roommate share it.
