I received it today. There were two shelf brackets, a screw, a washer, and a red plastic piece lying inside the safe along with the shelves and some foam strips. It is obvious that the shelf brackets were once attached to the side of the safe since there was weld residue where they were once attached that matched the residue on the brackets. I installed the batteries per instructions and then looked for the “red button” to push so I could set the combination. The red button was not to be found; I assume it was the red plastic piece that was lying in the safe. There was a hole that looked like it could be where the “red button” was so I stuck a piece of wire inside to see if that would allow setting the combination. No luck.
So, it’s more than useless to me since now I will have to pack it up and send it back and try to get my money back.

not bad product for a good price. good quality product. looks just like the picture. easy to use. either keyed or electronic lock. keys are used for back when/if batteries fail. easy to lock and change key combo. all in all worth the price i payed to help hide and keep a small amount of things secured. if you want a easy to install and use safe this will work. it is made well, nice fit and finish. kind of on the small side but it is what i was wanting. only using it as a back/decoy for a larger more hidden safe, so most of the stuff that goes in it is for near daily access. not fire proof, but a good theft deterent. plus it was priced under 100.00

I ordered this safe twice. Both times I received it damaged. First order the finish on the outside was scratched off and the inside of the safe was scratched due to the steel shelfs that were not secured. Second order the bottom corners were bent and the finish was also scratched off. I would be VERY cautious when ordering this item due to the Stack-On Company not packaging this heavy steel safe well.
Note: If the safe was not damaged, I think it would have worked well. As a side note, the middle shelf space is taken up due to the locking device.

The Stack-On PWS-1522 is solid, well-made, and a good choice for those needing safe storage of things that won’t take a lot of room, like passports and other key documents.

I bought this a few months ago and I just love it!
This is a simple elegant solution for my firearm, and $$$.
And the best thing is it looks like it was meant to be there.
BUY THIS, I couldnt find anything better for more or less money.
